Sup?

It's been 12 days since my last entry. Well no one care i guess. Sup me? Me tired, really, cause i started working since last week. As a contract system developer rite now. This is actually a probation period before i become a consultant (the title) in that company. After all I still undergraduate working 4 and 1/2 days per-week.

Incidently, my first project was at my previous school, KPTMKL. My job is to clean up the mess in a system that was ceated by previous system developer. This task is actually much tougher than creating a new system because the previous developer were "tak sekolah punya programmer!". They don't have proper documentation, unorganized database and coding. So rite now i have to act like a forensic, seeking for clues, tracing the database connection and module dependencies, study the previous programmer behavior, fix the error, plan and documented it like "pegi sekolah punya programmer (MMU mari ni!)". Clear the way Grissom, your favourite subject is bugs .. i kill them!

Quite a tiring job, had to deal with the clueless client and the aircond is too cold to stand. Sejuk gila babas macam peti sejuk. But all are forgotten when seing all the chicks there :p. Bahagia bila keluar2 je opis, 2 - 3 bas student2 pompuan semua tgh menunggu aku driver bas.

What so good that i choose to bare all these (esp the 2 buses chickies)? Ok let see the bad part first.

cons:

• have to wear ties, corporate suite, no more long hair.
• have to go to the meeting and listen to the boss telling about his life and pot pet pot pet. That pot pet pot pet will take about 55% of the meeting time.
• and those chickies .. doo not want!!! (hehe)
  

pros:

• there was no interview, the job seek me actually .. yee!
• the probation period would be about 2 - 3 months.
• i could be more on project management after this, no more full programming and layering the bricks (it's depend on the project actually, kena turun padang gak sesekali). Management skill and experience is what I seek most. Those technical things can be read from the book. This is priceless.
  
• so basicly i'll start work at technical-management level earlier where i'll handle some programmers (it will take at leat 3 years to be at this level at a typical software company).
  
• Will work at client site most of the time, so I'll meet alot of people at different places. This will enhance my people skill.
  
• Wearing working suite means I don't have to choose what to wear for work. I'll just queue them up according to days (this neutralize 1 minus point)
• Being me, I'll try to make everything positive .. so the boss pot pet is actually full of wisdom and knowledge from his experience.. the repetative part make us more aware about his advice and keep it in our mind (another neutralized point)
  

Ok .. i'm tired already .ffdsfsfsg
