It's a boat on that freakin house!

This is a picture taken by my older sister during her research trip at Acheh. I lend her my digicam so I dig this on my memory card after she left it at my hometown for me to take it back. This picture kind of amazed me among the other images like fishes, her collegues and my nephew :D . You can imagine the effect of the tsunami from this capture.

Padang jarak padang tekukur

Look how deserted the area after the wave took all the houses away. This picture was taken after 1 year of the tragedy but as you can see here, not much repairing have they done. Good God, most of them are all muslims and as a muslim their faith have keep them sane. Life just keep go on.

For some people this is how the God shows His power to us. A goose bump for the fear for remembering it. It was actually happened a hundred miles away, a year ago and many years after this, and still makes us ponder. But funny how most of us still unaware that the power of God is actually demonstrated right under our nose and happened at real time. God doesnt have to give a vast amount of water to make us suffer. Think, what if God blocked any water from entering your body instead? Not much but that's a real power.
