uniform

It's been like 5 years since i draw my last comic. Spontaneously just now,i just grab a pencil and do a sketch on the A4 paper. Scanned with my housemate scanner and do the threshold with PS so it'll appear in black and white.. Just a sketch for now, if i have the time later i'll vectorize it and do a coloring.

the making:

Cornell

Chris Cornell is one of the best vocalist I ever listen to. He's well known from his band Audioslave and Soundgarden. I've been listening to him since 1994 when my roommate in MRSM Muar introduced me the Soundgarden hit album "superunknown". I have discovered that his real vocal talent and beautiful lyric are truely shinier on his personal project such as "Temple of the dog" and "Euphoria Morning" solo album. The "Euphoria Morning" was not commercially a succesful one but many critics bow to him for his voice and words in this masterpiece. It's a gem that you must seek,really. One of my all time favourite from "superunknown" is "she like suprises" and again this song is actually a bonus for europian market and also included in malaysia version. Unnoticed, it was another rarity indeed.

Well, sometimes when you have something good, don't be satisfied already. Pay more attention, you might get the best from it.

Another Island

Like other holidays, New Year is just another small island. But in this piece of land you spend most of the time on the beach, looking at the sea.

It's the same sea you came from but only this time you noticed the horizon. You sit on the warm sand, thinking and planning on how to stay survive when you get back to the water.

For believers, there is a land behind the horizon where you will settle down and stop all the swimming and drifting on that vast ocean. But you do not think about that land when you are in this small island. Most people will only think about it in the sea when they start to drown or realizing they can't keep up to float.Worst, for non-believers, it's just another horizon behind that line.

You osbserve the wave,the wind,the high and tide, complaining 'i should have done this and that' and making strategies so you can review and plan to do it on the next island like this one.

Well, for another people;"lets watch the fireworks and have party at the beach!" and later they run towards the water and just jump like kids in the water park
